Guided Meditation: Grow From Challenges

Whenever we are presented with challenges, there is often a lesson our soul is trying to learn.
It’s not DENYING your pain, it’s finding its PURPOSE.

Once we felt our emotions, then we can finally learn to hear the message that our emotions are here to teach us and the lessons that come with them.
It's only by feeling our emotions first that we get access to their wisdom.
This practice will guide you through not just feeling your emotions, but learning to hear the message that your emotions are here to teach you, now.
Go ahead and get comfortable.
Find a way to sit that makes you feel at ease.
Close your eyes when you're ready, and soften your body just 5% more.
Take a deep, full breath in with me, and a deep breath out.
Now, inhale with me to the count of three.
For one, two, three.
Hold for one, two, three.
Exhale one, two, and three.
Again, inhale one, two, three.
Hold for one, two, three.
Exhale one, two, three.
And last time, inhale one, two, three.
Hold for one, two, three.
Exhale one, two, and three.
And now just breathe normally.
And I'd like you to start this practice with your palms, just hugging you around your own arms and shoulders, wherever it feels comfortable to you, you can just give yourself a squeeze.
Bring forth any challenging emotion that's happening in your life, and you'll see how we're gonna move through it, to find the wisdom.
But first, you have to give yourself permission to feel it.
So just for a moment, allow that difficult emotion to arise, whatever it is you're going through in your life that you're having a challenge with, let the emotion, let the emotions underneath it, arise right now.
As you're feeling these emotions, you can just caress yourself lightly with your fingers.
Reminding yourself that it's okay to feel this way.
And now transition to placing your palms over your heart, and ask yourself, if this emotion had a message for me, what would it be?
If this emotion, or situation, had a message for me, what would it be?
And now, place your palms face up on your thighs or on your knees, palms face up.
Breathe deeply and ask yourself this question, what lesson is my higher self trying to learn at this time?
What lesson is my higher self trying to learn at this time?
Go ahead and take a deep breath in, and a deep breath out.
And place your hands over your heart, knowing that you are growing in every situation, you are growing.
And as you move forward towards your vision for your life, any difficult situations or emotions that arise can be here as your teacher to help guide you forward on your path, not to set you back if you learn the lessons that they're here to teach you.
And so the method that we use is called feel to reveal, to heal.
And most people wanna start with the healing or the revealing, but we can't do that until we have felt the emotion itself.
Only then can we hear the message and to learn the wisdom that the situation is here to teach us, and it is from that place that we can finally heal.
