Six years ago, Justin Michael Williams sat next to his grandmother on her deathbed in her final days of battling cancer as she asked him a question that changed his life forever. She asked, "If you were in my shoes and knew you were going to die in two months, what would you do?"
Williams immediately responded with, "I would drop everything I'm doing and finally record an album."
Bringing his dream to life, Williams was thrust into the spotlight when his debut album, METAMORPHOSIS premiered at #18 on the iTunes Pop Charts in 2016 next to Britney Spears and Taylor Swift, along with features by Spotify, Huffington Post, Afropunk, and Billboard Magazine — calling his music “sincere and intoxicating."
Justin's music and message speaks directly toward the issues, struggles, and heart of the world's marginalized voices. He creates for the LGBTQ+ community, the black community, starving artists and workaholic conscious creatives, and for anyone who's voice has been silenced. Justin is unafraid to use his platform and message to stand with and for his people.
As a musician, he has grabbed the attention of major stages and festivals, headlining The Hotel Cafe in Hollywood, White Party Palm Springs, Long Beach PRIDE, Wanderlust Festival, and SXSW 2018.
As the Owner of JMW Global Media, he has spearheaded marketing strategies for over 800 entrepreneurs in over 40 countries.
